The Origin of Ruthie’s Cliff
Built from lived experience, rooted in compassion.

Our Story
Hi, I am Lizz Willet, the founder of Ruthie’s Cliff. Growing up, I learned the true impact of community support firsthand, as there were times my own family relied on the kindness of others to navigate difficult seasons. Those experiences instilled in me a deep-seated belief in paying it forward.
“Welcome to our space and thank you for joining us in making a difference, one life at a time.”
– Lizz Willett, Founder of Ruthie’s Cliff
The Legacy
That desire to give back led to our annual tradition of feeding the homeless on Christmas morning—a small way to share warmth and hope on a special day. Ruthie’s Cliff is the evolution of that mission.

A Purpose Begins
Named in honor of my mother, Ruthie, and my husband’s grandmother, Cliffie—two women whose legacies profoundly shaped our understanding of compassion—we are dedicated to elevating our support for those who need it most.
The Mission that Drives Ruthie’s Cliff Forward
Dignity. Compassion. Empowerment. Three words that are more to us than a phrase. Our mission is to fill a critical gap in social services by offering a multi-faceted approach to empowerment and self-sufficiency. We will combine immediate relief with long-term skill-building and resource navigation, treating the whole person rather than just their immediate needs.
We’re actively looking for community partners to grow with us.
Are you a school, church, local business, community organization, or individual who shares our mission? We’d love to hear from you!
